Wairarapa

With a team of four staff, Sport Wellington Wairarapa is based in Masterton servicing the whole Wairarapa region (our boundaries are in line with the three local territorial authorities).
Located in the Wairarapa Sports House, on the corner of Chapel and Jackson Streets, we take a collaborative approach to strengthen our relationships with sporting organisations and key stakeholders. Through the work that we do, we can impact on decision making for grassroots sport, help to develop a sustainable sporting system and connect our communities through sport, active recreation and wellbeing.
Our current areas of focus are:
- The Green Prescription programmes
- Coaching Hub Wairarapa
- Volunteers
- The Leadership Framework
- The Future of Sport (RSO's Leaders Summit)
- Schools
